EduCareer Network ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use educareernetwork.com and related services, how we use it, and the rights you have.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, password (hashed), and role.
- Profile data: country, background, career and study interests.
- Assessment data: answers you submit to the Sweden VISA AI Score assessment and documents you upload.
- Payment data: transaction references processed by Flutterwave. We do not store card numbers.
- Usage data: pages viewed, actions taken, device and browser information via Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity.
3. How we use your data
- To provide the platform, memberships, resources and expert bookings.
- To generate your Sweden VISA AI Score and personalised recommendations.
- To process payments and send transactional emails (confirmations, receipts).
- To improve the product and diagnose issues.
4. Legal bases
We rely on your consent, the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests, and compliance with legal obligations under the GDPR.
5. Sharing
We share limited data with processors that help us run the service: Supabase (database and auth), Flutterwave (payments), Google (analytics), Microsoft (Clarity analytics), and email delivery providers. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Retention
We keep account and assessment data while your account is active and for up to 24 months after closure, or longer where required by law.
7. Your rights

8. International transfers
Some processors are located outside your country. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards.
